Welcome to Half Halt Farms! We are located in Martinez, California.
Heidi Riddle established Half Halt Farms in 1990 in the rural Briones Valley. Just minutes away from the hub of East Bay Area cities, Half Halt Farms is a full service competitive dressage and 3-day eventing facility. We have a large indoor arena with mirrors, outdoor full dressage court, and large outdoor stadium jumping arena.
With 50+ acres of conditioning trails, Half Halt Farms offers lots of variety for the athletic training of competition horses. We emphasize biomechanics and effective riding skills, and offer full or part time training for the dressage or event horse, coaching at shows, lessons on schooling horses, and sponsorships. Trailer in’s are welcome.
For boarders, Half Halt Farms offers daily turnout for all horses. Three meals per day, blanketing and grain service are also provided. Thanks for visiting our website!
